Henry Cavazos Iii

Henry Jerry Cavazos III, 41, passed away on the morning of September 4, 2023, in Cedar creek.

Henry was born in Corpus Christi to Henry Cavazos Jr and Vilma Reyna on May 19, 1982.

He worked as a cook for Double Dave's pizza for 5 years and worked at Popeyes for about 5 years as well.

He enjoyed spending time with his family, kids, niece, and nephews. He loved playing Call of Duty and was a big mama's boy. He loved to fish although he was not particularly good. He believed in aliens, zombies, and Bigfoot. The History channel was his favorite along with my 600 lb. life. He loved Godzilla and was a collector of horror toys. He was always looking forward to his next meal. Henry was a joker, always making jokes and always happy. Henry loved his dad Jose and especially loved his morning tacos before dialysis. He loved his brother-in-law Juan and looked forward to being brought outside when he got home. Mostly he loved his car, Bonnie.

Henry is survived by his children Isaac Cavazos, Delilah Almazan, Emery Salazar, and Serena Guerrero. His siblings Michael Cavazos (Angel Espinosa) and Nicole Rodriguez (Juan Rodriguez). Parents Henry Cavazos and Vilma Reyna (Jose Rosales) and his new granddaughter Angela Ava Aguilar.

Henry is preceded in death by his grandfather's Henry Cavazos, David Reyna and Rufino Soliz. His uncles Daniel Reyna, Ernest Barrera, and cousin Clarissa Barrera.

A memorial service will be held at his home as soon as his cremains are in the family’s care. The date will be determined at a later time.
