In Loving Memory of
Grayson Christopher Davis
Born: July 31, 1995, Fort Myers, Florida
Died: October 16, 2024, Bastrop, Texas
On October 16, 2024, Grayson Christopher Davis was called home to be with his Lord and Savior, leaving behind a legacy of joy, laughter, and unforgettable memories. His infectious laughter, boundless energy, and unwavering love made him beloved by all who had the privilege of knowing him.
Grayson brightened every room he entered, lifting spirits with his magnetic personality, big heart, and ever-present smile. He was the kind of person who made the world better and brighter just by being in it, always ready with a story, a laugh, or a helping hand.
Born in Fort Myers, Florida, Grayson grew up in smalltown Arcadia, where his adventurous spirit and deep passion for the outdoors took root. A natural sportsman, Grayson excelled with a fishing rod and firearms, often venturing alone into the creek or woods and returning with impressive catches and stories of his success. Though skilled in many areas, his greatest love was duck hunting, which embodied his deep connection to nature and his determination.
After attending Santa Fe College in Gainesville, Grayson went on to join Southeast Power Company in Texas, where his work ethic, leadership, and vibrant personality left an indelible mark. As a Project Manager and Estimator, he was respected for his skills and admired for the joy he brought to the workplace.
Grayson’s love for people was surpassed only by his love for his family. He shared an unbreakable bond with his parents, Todd and Ashley Davis, and his closeness with them was evident to all who knew them. His sister, Morgan Belisle, and her daughters, Reese and Ryleigh, were special to him, and he cherished his role as the fun uncle. His brother, Rogan, and sister, Ella, were not just siblings but his best friends and partners in adventure. Grayson’s girlfriend, Taylor Pearce, was the love of his life, and together they created memories and dreams that will last a lifetime.
Though his time was far too short, Grayson’s impact will be felt forever. He lived fully, loved deeply, and made those around him feel truly seen and valued. His infectious smile, booming laughter, and generous spirit will remain with everyone who knew him.
Grayson is survived by his parents, Todd and Ashley Davis; his sister, Morgan (Jacob) Belisle, and their daughters, Reese and Ryleigh; his brother, Rogan Davis; his sister, Ella Davis; his girlfriend, Taylor Pearce; and many friends and family who will forever hold his memory close.
His life was a testament to the idea that you don’t have to be here long to make a lasting impact. Grayson lived more in his 29 years than many do in a lifetime. We will always remember him not just for the incredible person he was, but for the way he made us feel—loved, seen, and always ready for the next adventure.
Rest in peace, Grayson. We'll carry you with us in every story, every hunt, every laugh, and every sunrise. Until we meet again.
