Gail Eileen Trisler

Gail Eileen Trisler, 56, of Bastrop passed away on April 10, 2023 at Seton hospital in Austin, Texas after her lengthy battle with cancer.

Gail was born in Knob Noster, Missouri to Carl and Mary Stewart on April 25, 1966. Gail went to school in Austin where she later met and married John Trisler on July 28, 1990 in Austin, TX.

Gail was employed by H-E-B, and spent over 20 years starting out as a bagger and ending her career in the Customer Service Department. No matter the location or title she held she was committed to providing the best service in the place she considered her second home.

Gail had a passion for animals, mainly cats and there wasn't a time when her heart or her house wasn’t filled with them. She enjoyed spending time in her garden and worked hard to make each holiday special for her family whether it was with a new game or a fun dish to try, her efforts and attention to detail will be greatly missed.

Gail is preceded in death by her mother, Mary Stewart, brother, Kevin Stewart, and sister-in-law, Karen Stewart.

Gail is survived by her husband, John Trisler; father, Carl Stewart, and siblings: Donna Montgomery, Perry Stewart, and Lisa Chromcak. Gail is also survived by many nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews.

Celebration of Life Services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on May 3, 2023 at Providence Funeral Home in Bastrop.
