Frank Michael Sanchez

Frank Michael Sanchez, 42 passed away Saturday, February 20, 2021 Austin, Texas.

Michael was born in Lubbock, Texas to Hilda Garcia Tijerina and Moncies Sanchez on April 26, 1978.  He was a loving caring son, brother, uncle, and father. He lived life to the fullest. Michael took pride in participating as an active member of the Austin amputee group. He especially loved helping other individuals to cope with similar handicaps as himself.

His sense of humor and sweet smile was an inspiration to many.  He was always willing to lend a helping hand at social benefits to raise money for others in need.

Michael is survived by his mother, Hilda Garcia Tijerina, son Garrett Christopher Sanchez. 5 brothers: Edward Tijerina Jr, Charles Tijerina, Randy Tijerina, Jonathon Sanchez, Timothy Sanchez. 4 sisters: Evette Sanchez Cortez, Stephanie Tijerina, Leonor Sanchez Baeza, Erica Sanchez and many nieces and nephews.

He is preceded in death by his (dad) Edward Tijerina, (father) Moncies Sanchez.

I would like to extend my sincere thanks to the medical staff at St. David’s rehabilitation center, especially Karri Kallas for caring and providing therapy to help my son live his life to the fullest.
