Florence G Vasquez

Florence Vasquez Salazar, 78, of Bastrop, Texas, passed away at home, surrounded by her family on Sunday, Oct. 9, 2022.

Florence was born in Austin, Texas, to Felix Gonzales and Lenore Esparza on May 1, 1944. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and  great grandmother. Florence loved spending time with her family and going to family functions. She was a prayer warrior, and she would answer the call for those who needed prayer in any situation.

Florence was preceded in death by her parents, Felix and Lenore and her sons, Louie and Joseph Vasquez.

She is survived by her husband Peter Salazar, daughter Donna Vasquez, her sons, John and Tom Vasquez, nine grandchildren, two great grandchildren, her three sisters and four brothers, plus numerous nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be held on Saturday, October 22, 2022 from 10am to 2pm at Bastrop Providence Funeral Home, 2079 Hwy 71 E., Bastrop, Texas, 78602.

Memorial Service will begin at 2:00 pm following the visitation on Saturday, October 22, 2022
