Among her cherished companions were her beloved pets Chance, Prada, and Shudy, who brought her immeasurable joy and comfort throughout the years.

Felipa is survived by son Martin Ruiz and daughter Clemencia Martinez; grandchildren Martin P., Julio, Ofelia, Ricardo, Hashim, Roy, Alexa, Miyah, Ava, Alex; 11 great-grandchildren; close family friends Cassandra Westry (mom’s black daughter from Alabama) and Mary Lou Vega.
Felipa is preceded in death by husband Hilario Jaramillo and youngest son Raul Ruiz.
