Emily "Dolly" Robertson Mihura

Emily “Dolly” Robertson Mihura, 98, of Bastrop, TX, passed away on November 27, 2022, at her home in Bastrop, TX. Dolly was born in Mossey River, Manitoba, Canada to John & Violet (née Hunter) Robertson on November 3, 1924. She went to school in The Pas, Manitoba. There she married Franklin S. Mihura of Oklahoma on October 1, 1945. For the past 60 years she has lived in Bastrop and spent 18 years working for Bastrop ISD at the elementary school and was a member of Calvary Baptist Church.

Dolly is survived by her daughters and sons-in-law Donna L Mihura & Dan Ortiz, Deborah Mihura Owen & Harold Owen, and Patti Sanders & Ron Sanders. She is also survived by  Grandchildren Sarah Jane Menefee & husband Matt Menefee, Matt Owen, and Kate Sanders, and Great-granddaughters Evelyn, Norah, and Margaret Menefee. Dolly is preceded in death by husband, Frank Mihura, her nine siblings, and both parents.

Dolly was loved by many and will be dearly missed. A celebration of her life is planned to be held in the new year.
