Elicia Bazan Lopez

Elicia Bazan Lopez, 86, of Bastrop passed away, Friday, June 10, 2022.
Elicia was born in La Casita, Texas, in the Rio Grande Valley, to Albino Bazan and Apolonia Montalvo on September 29, 1935. She married Refugio Garcia Lopez and together they lovingly raised eight children. Elicia worked for the Memphis Independent School District in Hall County, Texas as an assistant cook.

Visitation will be 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM, Friday June 17, 2022 at Bastrop Providence Funeral Home. Funeral Service will be 10:00 AM, Saturday, June 18, 2022 at Bastrop Providence Funeral Home with Pastor Greg Coy officiating. Burial will follow at Fairview Cemetery, Bastrop, Texas

Elicia was preceded in death by her husband, Refugio, her daughter Aminta B. Garza, her sons, Ricardo, and Rogelio Lopez, her parents Apolonia and Albino Bazan; her brothers Jesus, Santos, Basilio, Daniel and Constancio, her sisters, Julia, and Adelina.

She is survived by her children Rolando, Raul, Ruben, Raquel and Rebecca Lopez and their families; stepchildren Joe Lopez and family, Juan Lopez and family and Rosie Benard and family. Elicia is also survived by her brother, Albino Bazan Jr.; her daughters in law; her grandchildren, great grandchildren, and great-great grandchildren.
She will be missed.
