Elgin Oscar Gilbert Wendel

Elgin Oscar Gilbert Wendel age 77 years of Cedar Creek, Texas passed away to his heavenly home on April 27, 2024.

He was born to Elgin and Norma Wendel on April 30, 1946 in Fredericksburg, Texas.

Elgin is survived by his loving wife, Lillie of Cedar Creek, Texas; son, Don Wendel of Kyle, Texas; daughter, Beverly Wendel Foust of Bastrop, Texas and daughter, Gina Wendel Glass of Yorktown, Texas; along with his sister, Chere Durst of Llano, Texas and sister, Bernice Bates of Bandera Texas. He was loved by many grandkids and great grandkids along with nieces and nephews and many others who became family. Elgin was preceded in death by his son, Robert Wendel of Cedar Creek, Texas along with his parents, Elgin and Norma Wendel of Fredericksburg, Texas and grandson, Hunter Wayne Wendel of Dale, Texas.

To honor his wishes, there will be no services.
