Elaine Ingrid Walsh

Elaine I. Walsh, of Cedar Creek, Texas, passed away on February 6, 2023 at the age of 79. She is preceded in death by her mother Enid Boardman, her sister Cheryl Searcy and her husband Danny. She is survived by her children Dawn (Harkness) & John Roca, Wade & Lisa Harkness, and Anthony Harkness, 4 grandchildren, and 6 great grandchildren. Elaine lived in various states throughout her life. Elaine was a strong independent woman who wasn't afraid to live life. She decided to move to Texas, and she met the love of her life Daniel E. Walsh, and they married in Midland, Texas on August 14, 1987. Elaine worked for the US Postal Service for 30+ years, and upon retirement, her and Danny moved to the Texas Gulf Coast. They enjoyed their retirement together fishing in The Gulf. Elaine loved to meet and talk to new people. She loved her family, animals and nature. She loved to have fun and had an infectious laugh that made a person laugh along with her. She was a beautiful soul. She was the best Mom - to everyone and will be greatly missed by all that knew her.
