Eileen Juliana Heath

Eileen Julianna Heath, of Junction City Kansas, passed away on February 20th,2023 at her daughter’s home in Paige, Texas.

Julie was born in Junction City to Cornelius and Mary McCormick on January 9, 1928. She married Donald E. Heath on November 20th, 1951, in Junction City.

Julie and Don traveled the world together, living and working in Viet Nam, Italy, Brazil and Saudi Arabia. They also lived many years in Las Vegas, Nevada where they raised their family.

Julie was a devoted mother and grandmother. She volunteered at school, was an amazing Girl Scout leader and will be remembered for always being there in everyone’s time of need.

Julie is survived by her daughter Kathryn Gross, husband David and her son David Heath, wife Priss. Grandchildren: Patrick, John and Allesondra Gross, Zach and Dakota Heath, Anna Heath, Nicolas and Natalie Heath. Great grandchildren: Clayton and Finley Gross. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

Julie is preceded in death by her husband Donald and her eldest son Jeb Phillip Heath. Her brothers, Joseph, John and Herbert and her sisters, Mary Cecelia Beidelman and Janet Finlay.

Internment will be in St. Mary’s Cemetery in Junction City, Kansas. No date has been set.
