Earl Coltrane Roush

Earl Coltrane Roush, 84 years of age. Born in Humboldt, Kansas on Friday 15, 1934. He passed away on July 24, 2018 in Bastrop, Texas. His parents are John Henry Reuben Roush and Alfa May Coltrane. He was the baby of seven children. He married Patricia Joyce Flint in 1952 and they had three children, Patricia Janice Roush, Karl Wayne Roush, and Michael Thomas Roush. In 1973 he married Janice Elizabeth Roseling and they had two children, Charnelle Irene Roush and Charlynne Amanda Elizabeth Roush. Earl enlisted into the Airforce in 1956 and was honorably discharged in 1960. He then enlisted into the California National Guard in 1960 and was honorably discharged in 1963. He has been an aircraft mechanic, auto mechanic, worked in a chicken hatchery and has been a security guard. The things he enjoyed most in his life was attending church, reading playing games with his grandchildren and watching old westerns. He is survived by his sister-in-law Arlene Allen, son Karl Roush, daughters Patricia Beam, Charnelle Jenkins and Charlynne Farris as well as many nieces, nephews, grandchildren, great grandchildren and great-great grandchildren.Earl is preceded in death by his parents John and Alfa Roush. His siblings and their spouses, sisters Lola and husband Frank Mott, Margaret and husband Arlis (Tex) Raines, Elsie and husband John Huckabee, brothers Clark and wife Ruth Roush, Albert and wife Myrtle Roush, and Henry (Jack) Roush and son Michael Roush.   A Memorial Service will be held on Tuesday, July 31, 2018 at 10:00 A.M. at First Baptist Church Bastrop 1201 Waters Street, Bastrop, Texas 78602 The family will be holding a private burial in Kansas at a later date.
