Dwaine William Sander

Dwaine William Sander, 72, of Houston, passed away on Saturday, February 27, 2021 in Bastrop.

Dwaine was born in Houston to Edwin and Alma Sander on December 25, 1948. He went to school at Spring Branch High School in Houston. He married Eva Phillips on January 8, 1971 in Houston.

He worked as a Telecom Technician for AT&T/Southwestern Bell for 40 years. He enjoyed spending time with friends and family, bowling and barbequing.

Dwaine is survived by his wife Eva Sander, son Edwin H. Sander, grandson Edwin W. Sander, daughter Lauda Beightol, son-in-law Phillip Beightol, brother Ernie Sander, sister Mary Williams, and sister Peggy Sander.

Dwaine is preceded in death by Edwin Sander (father), Alma Sander (mother), Elaine Wickham (sister), Herbert H. Phillips (father-in-law), and Eva M. Phillips (mother-in-law).

A Memorial Service will be held at 11:00 AM, Friday, March 12, 2021 at Bastrop Providence Funeral Home located at 2079 Hwy 71 East, Bastrop, Texas, 78602.
