Dorothy Mae Norwood

July 3, 1931 — February 14, 2018

Dorothy Mae Norwood (France) passed away at the age of 86 to journey to her new home in heaven with her heavenly Father, Lord and Saviour, Feb. 14, 2018. Dorothy was a beloved wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother, loved by many.  Dorothy left a special place in the hearts of many she knew and encountered.  Dorothy was borned July 3, 1931 in Los Angeles, California to Richard Raymond France and Grace Eletha France (Myers).  She was predeceased by her Father and Mother; husband Marx Thomas Norwood; and her sister Betty Sharp (France).  Survived by sons Mark Alan Norwood, Dale Owen Norwood; daughter Connie Eileen Hoff (Norwood); grandchildren Angela Storace, husband Gabe, Justin Hoff, wife Candice; Thomas Norwood, Christopher Hoff, and Chelsea Thompson, husband Joey;as well as several great-grandchildren.  Dorothy married her husband, “Tommy” who was in the U. S. Air Force and became a military, traveling family. Traveling overseas, stateside, and many, many places throughout their lives.  Raising three children and overcoming obstacles of a military life without her husband at times, however enduring the task of life in the armed forces.  She loved God and was absolutely faith driven to serve him and protect her family.  Dorothy will be missed by many and loved forever; she will remain in all of our hearts an eternity.  Let’s celebrate her life!
