Donna Nelson Cooper

Donna Nelson Cooper, 46, of Red Rock, TX passed away peacefully at home surrounded by family on November 30th, 2021 in Red Rock Tx.

Donna was born in Dayton, TX  to Frank and Cheryl Nelson on August 24, 1975. She married Richard Cooper on November 16, 2013 in Lockhart, TX. She worked as a housewife, loving Mother and Nana!

She enjoyed time with her husband, kids, and her grandbabies. She also enjoyed camping, trail rides, casinos, and the holidays. But most of all spending time with her family!

Donna is survived by her husband, Richard Cooper; children: Frankie and Luke Woolley, Joseph and Ariel Wilhelm, and Cody Harris; sister, Stephaine Wood and nieces, Amber and Julia; mother, Wanda Cheryl Nelson; grandchildren: Emily, Skarlet, Zoey” Sissy” Wilhelm, Keith aka Bubby, and Baby Frankie.

Donna is preceded in death by her grandparents, Anna Lee Herl & husband, Morris Herl and Wallace G. Starke; Melvin Edward & Maggie May Nelson; uncle, Don Nelson, and Joann Nelson; and Daddy Frank “Frankie” Nelson.

Visitation will be 4pm-8pm Sunday, December 5th, 2021 at Bastrop Providence Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held 11:00am Monday, December 6th at Bastrop Providence Funeral Home. Burial will follow at New Red Rock Cemetery.
