Diana Reneè George

February 20, 1970 — October 26, 2024

Diana “Reneè” George, age 54, left this world on October 26th, 2024 in Bastrop Tx. She was born February 20, 1970, in Bryan, Texas to father Johnny George and mother Diana Bragg-George. At a young age she enjoyed spending time with her 3 loving uncles, 2 “brother” dogs, Copper and Zach, and her Nana Bragg. After High school, she joined the United States Navy. She later fulfilled her lifelong dream of being a mother, to which she devoted herself. As a young adult she was diagnosed with MS and learned to live with numerous obstacles. She carried a contagious positivity, always shining light on those around her despite the hardships she faced. She was a beloved mother, daughter, aunt, niece and cousin whose vibrant spirit touched everyone she encountered. Reneè’s life was a testament to resilience, humor, and unconditional love.

Her sharp wit and radiant personality made her unforgettable. Reneè was known for her one-liners and jokes, always bringing smiles and laughter to those around her. A brilliant mind, she could answer every Jeopardy question, and she loved testing her knowledge with shows like Law & Order, Criminal Minds, and all the classic game shows. Her go-to show was Scooby-Doo, whom she was jokingly planning to vote for as president. Bingo days at Silver Pines Nursing and Rehabilitation Center were her domain, where she held the crown as notorious bingo champion. Reneè adored all things purple, jamming to 80s tunes and she had a soft spot for cheesy quesadillas and 7up. Her love for her children and family was boundless, and the memories she created with them will be cherished forever.

She is survived by her parents Johnny and Kemmy George of Bastrop TX, and Diana and Wayne Parks of Austin, TX. Her daughters Amy Harris and her husband Tyler, of Bel Air, MD, Tatiana Denny of Kansas City MO, Hayley Pietanze and her husband Brandon of Bastrop TX, Melody Bilyeu and her husband Zachary of Kansas City MO, sons Noah Denny and Indigo Sprout both of Bastrop TX, bonus son Danuel Denny and his wife Courtney of Bear Grass NC, 4 grandchildren, numerous “grand puppies and kitties”, uncles, aunts, cousins, nieces and one nephew.

She is preceded in death by bonus son Sinjyn Taylor, cousins Eugene George and Ronnie Davis, “Nana” Norma Bragg, aunt Faye Davis and others.

Reneè is remembered by all who knew her as a one-of-a-kind spirit, a force of nature, and a source of unwavering love. She will be dearly missed, and her legacy lives on in the hearts of those who loved her.

A celebration of life will be held on her birthday February 20th, 2025 with details to follow.
