Deborah Diana Johnson-Serl

Deborah Diana Johnson-Serl, 65, passed away peacefully in her sleep Wednesday, May 31, 2023 at home. She was born April 18, 1958 at US Naval Air Station in Chincoteague, Virginia to the late Curtis and Barbara Johnson. She attended High School in Poway, California. After graduation in 1976, the family moved to Abilene, Texas. Debi moved to Austin in the mid 80's. She met the love of her life and was married on June 26, 2000 in Elgin, Tx. Debi is proceeded in death by her husband, Junior Serl; Parents, Curtis and Barbara Johnson; Grandparents, Vernon and Marcelle Vetta Sewell; and Great Granddaughter, McKenzie Whited. She leaves behind daughters, Samantha Vaught and Sara Lindberg; Stepsons, Brandon, Cameron, and Benjamin Serl; Daughter-n-law, Janet Michelle; Grandchildren, Thomas, Jackie, Brandon & Terri Whited, Stacy & Josh Ballard, Britney Whited & Brianna Lindberg; Great Grandchildren, Enrique, Lorenzo, Lincoln, Karlee, and Sturgill; and numerous friends & family. Memorial services will be held at Bastrop Seventh Day Adventist Church, 3300 Hwy 21 E, Bastrop, Tx 78602 Sunday, June 25, 2023 at 2pm.
