Dale Wayne Eischens

Dale Eischens, 66, of Cedar Creek Texas passed away on October 19, 2020, at his home.

Dale was born in Park Rapids, Minnesota to Urban “Smokey” Eischens and Mary Louise Eischens on August 22, 1954. He graduated from Lancaster High School, in Lancaster, Texas in 1972 and joined the U.S. Air Force the same year. While stationed at Bergstrom Air Force Base in Austin, Texas he met the love of his life, Diane Eischens, and they married in November 1973. While in the Air Force he served as an Aerospace Grounds Equipment Repairman for the 702 Tactical Air Support SQ and was awarded an honorable discharge in 1978. Following his service, he worked as a mechanic for 34 years.

He enjoyed spending time with his family and friends. He loved going to the beach with his family every summer. His love for the beach began when his family was stationed at Wheeler Air Force Base in Hawaii when he was a teenager. He always told stories of his spearfishing adventures to anyone who would listen. He also enjoyed camping, tubing down the river, reading, and Nascar. Dale was known for always smiling and making people laugh and for lending a helping hand.

Dale was survived by his wife, Diane Eischens; daughters, April Dawn Richardson and Christina L. Eischens; brothers and sisters, James and Debbie Eischens, Susan and Artie Fagan, Daniel and Glenda Eischens, Gary and Mary Eischens, and Nanci Eischens; grandchildren, Justin Richardson, Tori and Jack Burch, Sara Richardson, Brian Richardson, Jr.; great-grandchildren, Wyatt Burch and Cheyenne Burch; as well as a host of nieces and nephews.

Dale was preceded in death by his mother, Mary Louise Hopper-Eischens; father, Urban “Smokey” Eischens; brothers, Richard Eischens, John Eischens, and Jeffrey Eischens.

Military Honors will be held at the Dallas Ft. Worth National Cemetery with interment following. Date and time to follow.
