Christian Michael Harman

Christian Michael Harman, 19, of Bastrop, Texas, unexpectedly passed on July 1, 2017. He was born October 11, 1997, in Brandon, Florida, the son of Michael and Carmene Harman. He graduated from Bastrop High School in 2016, and was currently enrolled in Blinn College.  Christian loved life. He was the most spirited, loving and friendly 19 year old you would ever meet. His smile was infectious and always present.  He enjoyed golfing, fishing, and hunting. He valued his family and his friends. He never met a stranger and always put others first. Christian was a dreamer of life.    Christian is survived by his parents, Michael and Carmene; his brother Casey, and his sister Caitlyn.  He also leaves his maternal grandparents, Tommy and Jimmie Casey; and his paternal grandparents, Frank and Rachel Juarez, all of Bastrop.  He will also be tremendously missed by his aunts, uncles and cousins:  Kim  Casey of Tampa, Florida, Kevin Casey of Brooklyn, New York, Charlie and Mychele Chapin of Bastrop, Nathan Aman of Tampa, Florida, and Bryce and Bailey Chapin of Bastrop, Texas.  Funeral arrangements are being held at Bastrop Providence Funeral home.  Visitation will be held from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. with a celebration of life from 11:00-11:30 a.m. Lunch will be provided immediately following the service at Bastrop High School cafeteria. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be sent in Christian’s honor to the Bastrop High Memorial Scholarship Fund at 1614 Chambers Street, Bastrop, Texas, 78602, attention: Gayla Zamora.
