Charles “Buddy” Bernard Wellerman, 82, passed away peacefully at his home in Red Rock, Texas surrounded by the love of his family; Wednesday May 6, 2020.
Buddy was born in West Monroe, Louisiana January 26, 1938. The only son to Frank Bernard and Bessie Lou Wellerman. The only brother to older sister Francis and younger sister Sue.
Buddy loved his country and was a Veteran in the United States Army where he received numerous awards for his proficiency in marksmanship.
Buddy loved his garden, the outdoors and especially enjoyed fishing ANYTIME! His favorite meal was always fried fish; regardless if it was breakfast, lunch or dinner. He was a skilled Billiards enthusiast and loved the game of Snooker.
Buddy is survived by the Mother of his Five children; Wanda Jean Hendrix Wellerman. His children; Larkin Edward Wellerman (Ruth), Karen Lane Klaus (Paul), Cynthia Caprice Wellerman DeSaulnier, Tony Lynn Wellerman (Tina) & Candice Robin Kelley (Allan). His only surviving sister; Sue Worley; his 13 Grandchildren and 10 Great-Grandchildren.
Buddy is preceded in death by his parents, Frank & Bessie Wellerman and his sister; Francis Wellerman Creed.
Funeral services will be held Friday, May 8, 2020 at 2:00 p.m. at Sacred Heart Catholic Church Cemetery in Rockne, Texas.
