Charles Joseph Mckelvey

Charles J. McKelvey, age 83 of Bastrop, Texas passed away peacefully, May 10, 2023, surrounded by family.

Charlie was born in Trenton, New Jersey on January 12, 1940, to parents Helen and Gerald McKelvey. Charlie married Patricia Case on June 10, 1972. They celebrated 50 years of marriage in 2022. Charlie and Pat moved to Texas in 1997 to be closer to family. Charlie worked at Bastrop Independent School District for over 10 years and retired in 2010. HIs favorite pastime was rooting for his beloved Philadelphia Eagles football team.

He is survived by his wife Patricia, two sisters Geraldine and Catherine, both of New Jersey. Sister and brother-in-law, many nieces and nephews, great nephew and 2 great great nieces and nephew.

He is proceeded in death by his parent and many beloved family members. No funeral services at Charlie's request.

There will be a celebration of life at a later date.
