Charles Raymond Kelley

Charles Raymond Kelley, 81, of Bastrop passed away on Monday, August 3, 2020.

He was born in Batesville, Mississippi on August 10, 1938 to Francis (Mills) and Tom Kelley.

Charles served his county in the U.S. Air Force and later worked in residential and commercial construction.

He enjoyed the outdoors, metal detecting, hiking and collecting collectables and the history of the Civil War.

Charles is survived by his children: Ramona & Willard Scheiderer of Albany, GA; Charles W. Kelley of Lubbock, TX; Kathy Kelley of Bastrop TX; grandchildren: Michael & Kara Rios of Paige, TX and Brittany & Josh Campbell of Columbia, KY; great- grandchildren: Hannah & Josiah Boles of Robbins, TN;  Mia Hillburn of Paige, TX and Jax Campbell of Columbia, KY:  half-sister, Ramona Scheiderer; special friend, Charlotte Leathers and his pet companion, Khloe.

He is preceded in death by his parents and daughter, Julie Kelley.

Visitation will be held from 5 – 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday, August 18, 2020 at Bastrop Providence Funeral Home, 2079 Hwy 71 E., Bastrop, Texas.

Burial will be held in the Texas Veterans Cemetery in Killeen, Texas at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, August 19, 2020.
