Cecil D. Cox

Cecil Darnell Cox was born December 23, 1954 in Little Rock, Arkansas to Flossie (Roach) and Ray Cox, splitting his youth between Conway, Arkansas and Austin. He left us on April 22, 2022. Cecil leaves behind his wife Brenda Cox, his three daughters Jessica, Betty Sue, her husband, David Faz, Holly her husband Ben “Stedo” Gonzales III. Cecil will truly miss his grandkids Colby, Johnathon, Bryden, Paisley and what he called his bonus grandchildren Garrett, Dalton and Wyatt Dilley and the true love of his life, his mini-Aussie, Gypsy.

Visitation will be held from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. on Wednesday, April 27, 2022 at Bastrop Providence Funeral Home.

Funeral Services will be at 1:00 p.m. on Thursday, April 28, 2022, in the Bastrop Providence Funeral Home Chapel. Burial following at Upper Cedar Creek Cemetery.
