Catherine J. Morgante

On Sunday, May 22, 2022, Catherine J Morgante, loving wife and mother of one child, passed away at the age of 63.

Catherine was born on November 30, 1958, at Hill Airforce Base, in Utah to Albert and Geraldine Jimmerson. She received her accounting degree from the University of Houston in 1981, while working full time. She worked at various companies over the next 18 years as an accountant, controller, and financial analyst.  On July 20, 1985 she married Rocco Morgante. They raised one son A. Rayce.

Catherine’s personal strength, honesty, and sharp wit was on display in all that she did. She loved designing jewelry, decorate the interior of her home, and was dedicated to her family and friends.

Catherine was preceded in death by her father, Albert, and her mother, Geraldine.

She is survived by her husband Rocco, her son A Rayce, her brothers Steve, Dennis, and Kevin, a niece and several nephews.

A memorial service will be held at 1 pm, on Saturday, June 11, 2022, at Bastrop Providence 2079 Hwy71 East.
