Betty Candelaria, 57, of Bastrop, TX, passed away on May 18, 2023 in Bexar County. Betty Candelaria was born in Plains, TX to Antonio Barrientes and Celia Moreno on September 5, 1965. She went to school at Plains High School. She married Roberto Candelaria Jr. on August 26, 1988 in Odessa, TX. Betty Candelaria worked as a Child Nutrition Manager for Del Valle ISD for over 20 years. Betty Candelaria loved being around her family. She especially loved to cook and feed everyone. She was the Matriarch that brought everyone together. Betty Candelaria is survived by Roberto Candelaria Jr ( spouse), Liana Candelaria ( daughter), Roberto Candelaria 3rd (son),Deanna Candelaria (daughter) ,Toni Candelaria ( daughter), Johnny Martinez ( grandson), Irene Fuentes ( sister) Josie Dominguez (sister) Esperanza Moreno ( sister) Mary Moreno (sister) Virgina Barrientes( sister) Ernest Barrientes ( brother). Betty Candelaria is preceded in death by Antonio Barrientes ( father),Celia M Barrientes ( mother)Johnny Barrientes ( brother) Ventura Barrientes ( brother) Felix Barrientes ( brother ) Erasmo Barrientes (brother)María Elena Candelaria ( mother in law). Visitation will be from 11:00 am to 8:00 pm May 24, 2023 at Bastrop Providence Funeral Home Rosary will be at 6:00 pm. Church services will be held at 2:00 pm on May 25,2023 at Ascension Catholic Church in Bastrop. The family of Betty Candelaria wishes to extend our sincere thanks to all who donated to help.
