Beau James Awtrey

Beau James Awtrey, 34, of Cedar Creek, passed away at home on January 18 ^th 2022.

Beau was born in Austin to James Brad and Beth Lynne Awtrey on September 25 ^th 1987. He was a proud Texan and spent his school years in Bastrop County. He was known as a good worker in the Local 286 Plumber and Pipefitters Union.

He was an unbelievable force of nature. Unyielding, He never backed down from a fight. He loved fiercely, lived fiercely and fought fiercely. He was a jokester at his best and his goofiness could always make you smile. He made lasting impressions on anyone that knew him.

Beau is survived by his parents: James Awtrey and Beth Lynne Awtrey; older brother, Zachary and son, Keller and younger siblings; Hannah and partner Chris Fisher and their children, Killian and Bliss; Caleb and wife Shannon and children, Christian, Ozzy, Julien and Marley; Micah and wife Vicky; brother Jonah and youngest sister, Abigail.

Beau is preceded in death by his grandparents: James C. and Martha Awtrey, William Van Houten and Barbara Crow.

Burial will be held on Thursday, January 27 ^th at Young's School House Cemetery in Upton. The family has extended an invitation to those who knew Beau to join them after the closure of the grave at 4:00 p.m. for a time of fellowship, sharing and reminiscing.

Memorial Services for Beau will be held at The Gathering, 287 FM 20, Bastrop on Sunday, February 6th, 2022 at 3:00pm
