It is with profound sadness that we announce the unexpected passing of April Sue Blocker on May 19, 2023, at home, in Red Rock, TX. Born on April 13, 1967, in Corpus Christi, TX, April left a lasting impression on everyone who was fortunate enough to know her. April's love of Jesus, kind heart, hope in seeing her son Casey James Brown again, love for her family, and unwavering dedication to her mother are just a few of the qualities that will be remembered by those who had the pleasure of knowing her. Her love for her new love Kevin Tyndall made her hope for a wonderful future with him and her mother and warmed her spirit, wanting to share her new happiness with everyone. She is survived by her estranged son Casey James, her mother Winifred "Faye" Brown, her brother, James Shands and his sons, her nephews, Christopher Pablo, Chad, and Conor, her loving sister-in-law, Diane Shands, who will carry the memory of April's bright spirit with her, her half-brother Scott Brown and family, her niece Michaela Smith and April's half-brother Eric, her fiancée Kevin Tyndall, her Uncle Carl Shands and cousins, Jessie Jo Shands, Alvin Fryer, Mrs. Ginger Gutierrez, Glenn and Julia Gonzales and family, her grandnieces Chloe McKenzie, Faith McLemore, Lily Pablo and grandnephew, Caden Pablo, her cousin Arthur McGill’s family Olga, Evette, and Mollie, and many special relatives on both of her parents sides and dear friends. Last, but not least, April leaves behind her fur babies, Angel, Daisy, Malone, Little Bit, Scooter and her mom’s doggies and kitties who loved her so much. She is preceded in death by her grandparents, her father Lester C Brown, her uncles and aunts, Jessie Ward, Minnie McGill, Sonny Shands, William Shands, Eddie Joe Archer Shands, uncle Joe's ex-wife Pauline, cousin Arthur McGill, Linda Gonzales, and many special other beloved relatives and friends. While April's physical presence will be dearly missed, her indomitable spirit and the many memories she leaves behind with each of us will be cherished by her friends and family for years to come. Our beloved April will be cremated and a memorial with close family members will be later. In lieu of flowers, please consider any type of donation to Winifred Shands Brown to help her with finances, home repairs and living expenses. Thank you in advance. We love you, April Sue ❤️
