Alfredo Venegas Pena

Alfredo Venegas Pena, age 85 of Bastrop entered into eternal rest on December 24, 2022. Alfredo was preceded in death by father, Alfred Brett Pena; mother, Guadalupe Pena; sister, Adelaida Martinez; and son, Marc Fulkerson.

He is survived by his wife, Yvonne Hoffman Pena; sons, Randall Pena (wife, Deysy), Steven Pena (wife, Lesvia), Roman Pena (wife, Pamela), Forrest Zane Fulkerson, and Bret Fulkerson (wife, Hollie); grandchildren, Adriana, Erica, Roman Jr., Laura, Andie, Rebecca, Jason, Rachel, Evelyn, and Henry; and siblings, Martha Ann Valle, Rolando Pena, and Yolanda Pena.

Alfredo was born in Houston, Texas on April 4, 1937, to Alfred Brett and Guadalupe Pena. He attended Jefferson Davis High School and graduated in 1956. He served his country faithfully and with distinction throughout his career, joining the Army in 1958 and the Air Force in 1963 until his retirement as Master Sergeant in 1997. He was a loving husband, father, brother, and friend and will be missed by many.

A memorial service will be held on January 21, 2023, at 1pm, at the Bastrop Providence Funeral Home with interment to follow at Fairview Cemetery.
