Alecia Suzanne Stephens

Alecia Stephens, 47, of Leander, TX, passed away on March 13th of 2023.

Alecia was born in Newnan, GA to Charles and Susan on September 2nd, 1975. She was a strong, caring, and supportive mother, spouse, and friend. She has served in many roles always learning, striving and caring for others. Most recently at the Core Civic halfway house and the Austin State Hospital. Alecia loved cooking, traveling, playing games, and learning new recipes. She cherished any time spent with loved ones, and her pets and brought joy and light to everyone lucky enough to experience her care.

Alecia is survived by her fiancé David Friday; her children Lauren Danielle Newton, Adrian Scott Newton, Connor Ray Richards; her sister Amy Stephens; her parents Charles and Susan Stephens, her grandson Cayson Knight Brazile; and Danica Friday.

Alecia is preceded in death by Bertie Stephens, Bill Stephens, Thomas Friday and Doris Jackson.

Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 AM on Saturday, March 18th, 2023 at Austin First Church, 4557 State Highway 71, Del Valle , TX 78617.
