Greg Moncure, age 49, lifetime resident of Bastrop, Texas passed away unexpectedly and went home to be with the Lord Jesus Christ on Friday, November 26, 2010.
Greg was born on March 12, 1961 in Bastrop and is the second child of Barry and Maryann Moncure. He was a master plumber and owned Moncure Plumbing. He was a loving and caring husband, father, son, brother and had many, many friends. Greg loved the Lord and was a member of Bastrop Christian Outreach Center. Greg never met a stranger. He had a heart of gold and fiercely loved his children and family.
Greg is survived by his wife, Diana, two daughters, Krystal Moncure and Chelsea Trigg; two sons, Seth Moncure and Christian Moncure and step-daughter, Courtney McVay, all of Bastrop. Greg is also survived by his parents, Barry and Maryann Moncure, Bastrop; his sisters and brother in-laws, Melinda and Carl Bender of Pflugerville, Alisa and Jimmie Williams of Houston and brother and sister in-law, Tim and Vickie Moncure of Houston; seven nephews and three nieces.
Visitation will be Wednesday, December 1 from 6pm to 8pm at Bastrop Providence Funeral Home. Celebration of Life services will be Thursday, December 2, 2010 at 2pm at Bastrop Christian Outreach Center with burial following at Fairview Cemetery.
