Her love and passion were her grandchildren who knew “Grandmama’s” house was their playhouse.  She never fussed about their messes or the noise or whatever kind of animal they found to bring “home” usually ending up at her house.  She nurtured their love for animals by raising everything from birds to horses.  As a young girl attending the University of Texas, she took many top honors for her horse showing, riding and jumping abilities. She especially loved her champion Palomino, El Golden Dreno.     She was very proud of her heritage being a direct descendent of Austin founder (then called Waterloo) Jacob Harrell.  Her Seiders’ family also ran the historic Kash Karry Food Stores in Austin which were one of the oldest grocery chains in the area.  A special thanks to caregivers Dr. Robert Dougherty, Faye Roberson, Juanita Giles, Joyce Anyanwu and the staff of Hospice of South Texas as well as other special friends. The family will receive friends on Tuesday, November 16, 2010 from 6-8 p.m. at the Bastrop Providence Funeral Home.   A celebration of her life will be on Wednesday, November 17, 2010 at 3:00 p.m. at Bastrop Providence Funeral Home with internment immediately following at Fairview Cemetery.
