David Bradley Humphreys

David Bradley Humphreys, age 46, of Bastrop succumbed to cancer at his home on Tuesday, October 26, 2010. He was born April 3, 1964 to Phillip Andrew Humphreys and Sondra Sue (Willoughby) Humphreys in Jasonville, Indiana. Shortly after graduation from Bastrop High School in 1982, David was employed by LCRA and has been with them for 28 years. He was an Environmental Coordinator at their railcar facility in Smithville until his health prevented his working. A visitation will be 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Thursday evening at Bastrop Providence Funeral Home in Bastrop, Texas. A service celebrating his life will be 10:00 a.m. Friday, October 29, 2010 at the funeral home with burial following in Oak Hill Cemetery, Smithville, Texas. David is survived by: his wife, Tracy Ann Humphreys; children, Christopher David Humphreys, Ashton Elizabeth Humphreys, Kenan Andrew Humphreys, and Bo Allan Morkovsky; his parents, Phillip and Sandy Humphreys; a brother, Phillip Alan Humphreys; sisters, Lori Jean Vaughan and Deborah Lee Humphreys; a granddaughter, Riley Elizabeth Humphreys; and his former wife and mother of Chris and Ashton.
