Elaine Templeton

Elaine Templeton, 52 of Bastrop, went to be with the Lord Thursday, October 7, 2010 in Austin, Texas. Visitation was Saturday, October 9, 2010 at the Bastrop Providence Funeral Home. Graveside Services were held on October 10, at the Alta Vista Cemetery at 2:00 PM with a Celebration of Life service, officiated by John Eason, held at The Celebration Community Church at 107 Longhorn Street, Bastrop, TX, at 3:00PM. Elaine was born November 28, 1957 in Eastland, TX to Bill and Ruth Simmons. Elaine enjoyed a career working as a nurse in the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit. Her passions included leading Bible Studies, volunteering in her church and first and foremost caring for her family. Elaine is survived by her husband Coy Templeton, daughter Brooke Templeton and Granddaughter Ruth all of Bastrop TX, 3 brothers: Lindell Foster of Birmingham, AL, Richard Campbell of Savoy, TX and Nelson Campbell of Gordon, TX., and one sister Carol Hamilton of Odessa and many nieces and nephews. Elaine was preceded in death by her mother and father Ruth and Bill Simmons of Gordon, TX , and brother Alton Foster.
