Terrence Lee Holmes

Terrence Lee Holmes, 68, of Bastrop died Saturday, July 10, 2010 at his home.  Memorial services will be 10 AM Saturday at Bastrop Providence Funeral Home with Roger Osborne officiating. Terrence Holmes was born January 7, 1942, in Moline, Illinois to Forrest and Evelyn (Allen) Holmes.  He married Annette Gail Rice March 28, 1963.  Terrence was sole proprietor of Advance Property Inspections and worked in Bastrop and the surrounding communities for more than 30 years.  He had many hobbies including golf, guitar, photography, and barbequing.  Survivors include wife, Annette Holmes, mother, Evelyn Holmes, children, Marlene Duncan, Eileen (Henry) Mills, and Daniel Holmes, brothers, Dennis Holmes and wife Mikey, and Richard Holmes, 7 grandchildren, and 4 great grandchildren and many friends at the American Legion. Memorials may be made to the family.  A barbecue benefit will be held at noon Saturday, following the Memorial service, at the American Legion. Services have been entrusted to Bastrop Providence Funeral Home.
