John Roy Parsons

John Roy Parsons, age 77, of Del Valle passed away on Monday, June 28, 2010.   He was born July 23, 1932 in Gallatin, Texas to Ira and Euzeta Parsons.  John retired from the US Air Force as a Master Sergeant in supply.  While serving in the Air Force he met Nora J. Whaley, who was also serving in the Air Force, and they married on March 10, 1975 in Tarrant County, Texas. Following his Air Force career, John was employed by, and retired from, White Swan.   John is survived by: his wife of 35 years, Nora J. Parsons; son, John M. Parsons; daughter, Debra Waller and son-in-law Rick Waller; brother, “Bubba” Parsons; 3 granddaughters; and 2 great-granddaughters with the arrival of another great-granddaughter expected soon.   No funeral services are planned at this time.
