William Allan Spreen

William Allan Spreen, age 46, of Cedar Creek, Texas passed from this life at his home on Sunday May 9, 2010. He was born August 3, 1963 in San Antonio, Texas to William F. and Esther R. Blumberg Spreen. He was employed for over 25 years with the IRS in Austin, Texas and served as a football official for area schools for 18 years. William is survived by: his wife, Linda Spreen of Cedar Creek; his son, William Connor “Buddy” Spreen of Cedar Creek; his parents, William F. and Esther R. Spreen of Seguin; brothers, W. Todd Spreen of Marble Falls, Steven and wife Jennifer Spreen of Schertz; and mother-in-law, Ann Johnson of Tijeras, New Mexico. A celebration of William’s life will be 2:00 p.m. Saturday, May 15, 2010 at the Cedar Creek United Methodist Church, Cedar Creek, Texas. Those desiring may make memorial contributions in his honor to the American Cancer Society, or other charity of your choice.
