Rachel Ranee' Walsh

Rachel Holt Walsh was born in Fairborn, Ohio at Wright-Patterson Air Force Base. Rachel was the young age of 40 years when she passed at St. David’s South Austin Emergency Center on March 10, 2017 at 4:50pm. Rachel was born on February 3, 1977 to E.L. and Patricia Holt. Rachel was married to Tyler Walsh who she met over 22 years ago as high school sweet hearts. Rachel and Tyler Walsh have two loved children, Zacharie and Lexi Walsh. Zack is 20 years old and Lexi is 16 years old. She is also survived by her sister, Stephanie Holt Barnes; as well as, many nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, and cousins. In 1995, Rachel graduated from Cordell High School in Cordell, Oklahoma. Rachel moved on to pursue her education and received her degree in Billing and Coding in 2011 from Virginia College in Austin, Texas. After receiving her degree, she went to pursue her career in the medical industry at Glaucoma Institute and later Bio Script. Rachel loved making arts and crafts for her friends and family. One of Rachel’s favorite activities was reading. Rachel was also an avid University of Oklahoma football fan. She loved new adventures, such as traveling to new places with her family. However, Rachel’s true passion was taking care of her family. She made sure she attended all their events from sports to all educational activities. Rachel was the pillar of strength in her family who enjoyed cooking and making her family happy. Rachel’s dedication to her family was evident by never forgetting a special event in her loved ones’ lives. Rachel will be truly missed by her family and friends. Visitation will be 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM on Wednesday, March 15, 2017, Bastrop Providence Funeral Home in Bastrop, Texas. The funeral service will be 1:00 PM Thursday, March 16, 2017, Bastrop Providence Funeral Home. Interment will follow at Fairview Cemetery
