Thomas “Nat” Nathaniel Alewine, born March 14, 1945 in Del Rio, Texas died Jan 13, 2017 in Waco, Texas. at 71. He was preceded in death by his Parents-- (mother) Marie Meredith, (Father/ stepmother) Cecil and Pauline Alewine, (Sisters) Roseanna Dozier, Minnie Meredith, Christine “Sissy”, (Brother) “Bubba” Cecil Jr., (Grandparents) Jasper and Rose Alewine, Thomas and Minnie Lyons.
He is survived by his wife Bonnie Alewine, (sons) John Ed Webb, Tommy and wife Misty Alewine, Michael wife Snow, Charlie and wife Ruth, Timothy Thomas Wood, (Daughters) Carolyn Fuller, Kimberly Guthrie, Jessica Woods, (Brothers) Don and wife Vera, Charlie and wife Alta, and Doug, Andrew and wife Sheri Meredith (Sisters) Elise Chappell, Dolores and husband Calvin, Clara and husband Sonny, Genean Alewine, Judy Thomas, Darlene and husband Marlin Roberts, (Grandkids) Natalie, Kyle, Joshua, Joey, Christina, April, Laura, Nicole, Rachel, Darcy, Christina, Leanne, Michael, Rylee Travis, Billy, Trina, Lee, Jon, Marc, and Isaac, and 21 great grandchildren.

Nat fell in love with music at an early age. His first instrument was an Acoustic guitar and then moved on to the upright Bass. He could also play the mandolin, French harp, and fiddle. He played country western and Gospel music. He was an advid outdoorsman and his favorite pass time was Fishing, talking about fishing , and collecting various fishing poles.
Visitation will be 2:00-4:00pm Sunday, January 15, 2017, Bastrop Providence Funeral Home. Funeral Services will be 1:00pm Monday, January 16, 2017, Bastrop Providence Funeral Home. Interment will follow at Upper Cedar Creek Cemetery.
