Bettye L Jones, 85 of Bastrop passed away January 9, 2017. Bettye was born January 23, 1931 in Brownwood, Texas to Elmer R. and Edna Earl DuPree Sawyer. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband Robert Wade Jones Sr.; sisters Billie Luceal Sawyer, and Norita Jo Sawyer Belvin. Bettye is survived by her children Robert Wade Jones Jr., James Richard Jones Sr., Deborah Lousie Jones Hackworth, and James Richard Jones Jr.; 7 Grandchildren; and 13 Greatgrandchildren. Graveside Services will be 10:00am Thursday, January 12, 2017 at Upper Cedar Creek Cemetery.
