Randall Ray Maney

Randall Ray Maney, age 61, of Bastrop, TX, went to be with our heavenly father October 19, 2016. He was born December 9, 1954 in Odessa, TX to the late Eldon Maney and Mavis Maney. He passed away due to complications from COPD. He believed in an honest day's work and took great pride in working with his hands. He was tough yet kind and would always make you laugh. His wife, children and grandchildren were his world. He loved Odessa but was truly at home in the pine trees of Bastrop where he loved to sit on the porch and watch the hummingbirds. His family and friends will miss him dearly. He is preceded in death by his parents Eldon Maney and Mavis Maney. Those left to cherish his memory are his loving wife of 23 years Trudy Maney of Bastrop, TX. His sons Colter Maney of Bastrop, TX. Dusty Maney of Midland, TX. Daughter Nicki McPherson Swain and husband John of Bastrop, TX. Step daughter Sara Weber and husband Seth of Austin. Step son Seth Laird and wife Beki of Moody, TX. Brothers John Maney and wife Debbie of Austin. Olan Maney and wife Jane of Odessa, TX. Sister Jan Benton and husband Wayne of Amarillo. Grandchildren Ashton, Aubrey, Tyler, Byron and Silas. Arrangements have been made by Bastrop Providence Funeral home. The family would like to thank the Doctors and nurses at Saint David's Hospital.
