Bonifacio F. Renteria Sr.

Bonifacio Renteria Sr. of Bastrop (formerly of Elgin) was called by his Heavenly Father on March 20, 2016. He was born May 14, 1954 to Gregorio and Julia Renteria. He was preceded in death by his parents and siblings Demetria Castillio, Joe Renteria, Celestina Ledesma, Ramon Renteria, and Ramona Alvarado. Bonifacio is survived by his loving wife of 37 years Adalberta Valadez Renteria; children Bonifacio Renteria Jr. (Heather), Brenda Ruvalcaba (Edward), Monica Renteria, and Matthew Renteria (Amanda); sister Juanita Hernandez of Elgin; 13 Grandchildren; 2 Great Grandchildren; and a host of Nieces, Nephews, Relatives, and Friends. Visitation will be 6:00-9:00pm, with Recitation of the Holy Rosary at 7:30pm, Tuesday, March 22, 2016 at Bastrop Providence Funeral Home. Funeral Mass will be held 10:00am Wednesday, March 23, 2016 at Ascension Catholic Church. Interment will follow at Fairview Cemetery.
