Tony Sanchez Jr.

Tony Sanchez Jr., 86 of Austin, Texas passed away February 25, 2016. He was born July 22, 1929 in Lufkin, Texas. Tony was an Army Veteran, Husband, Father, Grandfather, Great Grandfather, Brother, and Uncle. He and his wife Bertha Sanchez were married for 60yrs. And were followers and believers of their Catholic faith. Tony was a strong 1940's old school guy. His personality blossomed onto his three daughters Martha (James), Sue Ann (Joe), Renee (Curt), and one son James. He will be missed, but never forgotten by his family, relatives and many friends. He was preceded in death by his parents, Tony and Victoria Sanches, sister Juanita Oliver and brother Joe Sanches. He is survived by his brother Roy Sanches, Leon Sanches, Linda Kay Burgess, and Janie Allen. He had 8 Grandchildren and 6 Great Grandchildren. Celebration of Life Services will be held 2:00pm Thursday, March 3, 2016, Bastrop Providence Funeral Home. Interment will follow with Military Honors at 3:00pm, Phelan Cemetery.
