Mary Patricia Blanchette

Mary Patricia Blanchette (nee Bradley), age 85, went home to be with her Lord and Savior “Jesus” on Friday, June 5, 2015. Mary enjoyed her last days as a resident of Lost Pines in Bastrop, Texas. Mary was born in Detroit, Michigan on November 13, 1929 to William and Geraldine Bradley (nee Defer). She was preceded in death by her husband “Louis Melvin Blanchette”, her brother Richard (Dick) Bradley and sister Sally. Beloved mom to 7 children: Linda Hoover, Leslie Cruise, Louie Blanchette, Lori Hardy, Larry Blanchette, Lisa Huntley-Schranz, and Leanne King. Precious Nana of 32 grandchildren and Great Nana to over 70 great grandchildren (and more on the way). “Her children rise up and call her blessed” indeed. Proverbs 31:28 Her life and memory will continually be celebrated by her family and friends. Her sincere faith in Jesus Christ changed the lives of a multitude and touched the hearts of so many. She truly lived a life full of grace, mercy and the joy of knowing Christ. She met the Lord in the “throne room” every night with prayer and thanksgiving in her heart, and has longed to meet Jesus “face to face” for over 40 years. Her favorite words were “Come Lord Jesus”. Her testimony witnessed to all - “The Spirit and the Bride say “COME”. Let anyone who hears this say “COME”. Let anyone who is thirsty “COME”. Let anyone who desires to drink freely from the “water of life” COME.” Revelation 22:17
