Victoria Moore

Victoria May Moore 84 of Bastrop, Texas passed away Friday, March 27, 2015. Victoria was born May 24, 1930 in Toronto, Canada to Albert and Jessie Jackson. She graduated from nursing school as an RN from Toronto East General Hospital in 1951 and then continued her nursing career in Big Spring, Texas at Malone & Hogan Hospital for over 30 years. She became a US citizen in 1960. She spent her lifetime caring for others. She also loved sewing, gardening, and caring for her Grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her daughter Christina Smith; stepdaughters Melody and Darja Moore, and stepson Gary Moore. She is survived by her daughter Vikki-Jene Estes, son-in-law Jeff Estes, grandsons Jackson and David Estes, granddaughter Grace Estes and special friends Ray and Carolyn Estes. Visitation will be 10:00-6:00 pm Monday, March 30, 2015, Bastrop Providence Funeral Home. Graveside Services will be held 3:00 pm Tuesday, March 31, 2015 at Fairview Cemetery.
