Joe Henry Nelson Justice

In Memory of Joe Henry Nelson Justice Funeral services for Joe H. Justice aka “Vegas Joe” will be held 2:00 P.M. Friday, January 30, 2015 with viewing from 1:00-2:00pm, at Bastrop Providence Funeral Home Chapel. Joe, the son of Joe Charter Justice and Tula McCarty-Justice, was born March 5, 1930 in Dripping Springs, Texas. He passed away January 26, 2015 in Bastrop, Texas. Joe was a proud veteran of the US Army, then after receiving an Honorable discharge, settled for a while in Elgin, TX with Nellie Boshears Justice; where they raised three sons. Joe retired after 30 years with the University of Texas; retiring as a Supervisor for Custodial Services. After retiring he moved to Round Rock, TX; where he made many good friends. Joe became a big fan of Las Vegas visiting as often as he could, dubbing the nick-name “Vegas Joe”. Joe also loved those Aggies! In May 2010 Joe moved back to Bastrop County; where he made more good friends. The family wants to extend special thanks to Argent Court and Silver Pines. Joe was preceded in death by four sisters and two brothers Annie, Estella, Ruby, Dorothy, James, and Willie. He is survived by three sons Ernest Leslie Justice, Sandy Joe Justice and wife Debbie, and Robert Wendell Justice; 3 Grandchildren; 2 Great-Grandchildren; and sister Velma Joyce Luttrell and husband Lowell. Gone but not forgotten; forever in our hearts!
