Jerry Louis Fohn

Jerry Louis Fohn, 67, of Rockne died May 13, 2014. He was preceded in death by his parents Elmer (Skeet) and Ruby Nell Fohn. He is survived by his wife of 47 years Loretta Fohn. He is also survived by his children Kim Saegert and husband Keith and their three children Riley, Kamryn and Delaney; Chris Fohn and girlfriend Nicole Massey and his children Trevor and Taylor. He is also survived by his brothers and sisters Jonelle (Verlin) Callahan; Janet (Larry) Hendrix; Bobby (Nell) Fohn; Johnny (Cathy) Fohn; Joy (Mike) Ulrich; mother and father in-law Ernest and Clara Goertz; brothers-in-laws Alan Goertz (Verna), Glenn Goertz (Tammy) and Daron Goertz (Joe). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews. Jerry spent his whole life living in Rockne. He spent a very successful career working for the Texas Army Nation Guard where he retired after 32 years of service. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, gardening and spending every opportunity he could at the family ranch in Hondo, Texas. He loved life and enjoyed every minute doing something he loved. He was also a very good mechanic and would help out many of the residents in the community of Rockne. Recitation of the Holy Rosary will be 7:00pm Wednesday, May 14, 2014, Sacred Heart Catholic Church, Rockne, TX. Funeral Mass will be 10:30am Thursday, May 15, 2014, Sacred Heart Catholic Church, Rockne, TX. Interment will follow at Sacred Heart Cemetery. The family would like to thank Dr. Charles Mallet and Dr. Chadha with Texas Oncology for their great care.
