Jack Ernest Bledsoe, Sr. 86, Bastrop, TX, passed away February 27, 2014. Born in Port Arthur, TX to Dr. James and Gladys Bledsoe, graduated Jefferson High School in 1947; AA from Lamar College, attended UT. Survived by his wife of 61 years Mary Virginia; children, Melissa Elliott, Melinda Trautwein, Jack Bledsoe, Jr.; grandchildren, Bryan Hart, Michael Elliott, Henry Trautwein, Gina Lauren Trautwein; great grandkids, Jacob, Janalee, Tristan; brother, James Bledsoe, Jr. A loving family man, loyal Longhorn fan, he will be remembered for his quick smile and friendly nature. Graveside memorial service 11:00am Saturday, March 8, 2014, Green Lawn Memorial Park, Port Arthur, TX.
