Bertha “Bert” Franzen Miller Bradley, age 81, of Bastrop was called from this life on January 7, 2014. She was born October 11, 1932 in Hutto, TX to Andrew and Signe (Johnson) Franzen.
Mrs. Bradley was preceded in death by her first husband, Charles Frank Miller in 1991 and her second husband, John Bradley in 2010. She was also preceded by her parents and siblings, Anton Franzen, Walden Franzen, Evelyn Clary, Dorothy Thaler and Doris Smith.
Survivors include: her children, Charles F. Miller, Jr. (Karen), Tommy Miller (Jan), and Nancy Barrientos (Rene); Grandchildren, Matt Miller (Melanie), Ryan Miller (Clayton Rayborn), Megan Miller (Aaron Dyer) Morgan Miller (Holli), Brittany Barrientos McClitis (Jason) and Nicholas Barrientos (Erika); Great-grandchildren, Geovanni, Floriana, Isaiah, Mason and Maya; Siblings, Margaret (Lambert) Peterson, Eloise Chambers, Vera Law, Eric Franzen (Sandy); Sister-in-law, Lois Wright; and numerous Nieces and Nephews.
The family would like to thank Dr. David Morledge and his staff, Resolutions Hospice and the caring, compassionate staff at Bastrop Lost Pines Nursing and Rehab Center.
A Memorial Service will be held at the Hutto Discovery United Methodist Church, 350 Ed Schmidt Blvd., Hutto, Texas on Saturday, January 18, 2014 at 10:00 a.m.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial contributions be made to the Michael J. Fox Foundation for Parkinson’s Research (www.michaeljfox.org) or to the Lewy Body Dementia Association (www.lbda.org).
