Kermit Harold Bush

Kermit Bush, age 98, of Elgin passed to eternal life on Tuesday, September 24, 2013. He was born October 21, 1915 in Freeport, West Virginia to Pendell and Mary Effie (Smith) Bush. Kermit was an active member of Cedar Valley Baptist church. He is survived by: daughters and sons-in-law, Glenna Louise Bush, Joyce Ann Bush Gibson and Bobby, Virginia Sue Bush Steiner and Dr. Clarence Eugene; grandchildren, Robert Darrell Gibson and wife Angela Sue, Martin David Gibson, Chad Alan Gibson and wife, Doriann Jeannine, Richard Anthony Steiner and wife Meredith Rene, Steven DeWayne Steiner and wife Laura Lee, Michelle Lynn Vernon and husband, Jonathan Paul; 21 great-grandchildren; and 3 great-great grandchildren. Visitation will be 6:00-8:00pm Thursday, September 26, 2013, Bastrop Providence Funeral Home. Funeral Services will be 10:00am Friday, September 27, 2013, Bastrop Providence Funeral Home. Interment will follow at Fairview Cemetery.
