Virgil Evans

Virgil G. Evans, 76, died Sept.15, 2013. He was born and raised in Lometa, Texas to Edwin and Lora Evans. They preceded him in death. He is also preceded in death by his wife, Judy Evans; and his brother, Bill “Rabbit” Evans. He is survived by his two daughters, Carol Barron and her husband, Mark, of Paige and Cheryl Klaus of Bastrop; grandchildren, Kyle Barron and his wife, Danielle, Tyler Barron, Adrienne Feild and her husband, Thomas, and Kirsten Klaus. A memorial service is Tuesday, Sept. 24 at 10 a.m. at Bastrop Providence Funeral Home in Bastrop. Burial will follow at the City of Lometa Cemetery in Lometa.
